How Much Does Ukraine Entry Insurance Cost?

Rates work out to about €1.08/day (Standard) and €1.73/day (Extended), service fee included. Policies run 3 to 180 days on a single certificate, and the price is per person — up to ten people can share one policy.
The underlying tariff is set in hryvnia: 173.25 UAH for the first 3 days plus 52.50 UAH per additional day on Standard; 279.30 UAH plus 84.00 UAH per day on Extended. Euro figures on this site are conversions and move with the exchange rate.
What the price includes
Both plans cover emergency inpatient and outpatient care (COVID-19 included), injuries caused by military action, medication prescribed for the emergency, medical transport, emergency assistance and doctor's calls, hospital accommodation including intensive care, and repatriation arranged through the insurer's assistance company. There is no deductible: the insurer pays from the first hryvnia.
Extended raises the sum insured from 100,000 to 1,575,000 UAH, which is the level accepted for Ukrainian visa applications. Radiation cover is a separate paid option and is off unless requested. Dental care, sports injuries and planned treatment are not covered in either plan — see the conditions.

In what currency are claims paid?
In Ukrainian hryvnia. The sums insured are set in hryvnia in the contract; euro figures shown on this site are indicative conversions.
Can I extend a policy that's already running?
No. The term is fixed at purchase and cannot be extended. Either choose a longer term now, or buy a second policy for the additional period later.
