Last updated: 2026-09-14

Visa rules for Polish citizens

Polish citizens enter Ukraine visa-free with a biometric passport for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. No pre-registration is required; entry is stamped at the border.

Insurance requirement

Border officers may ask polish travellers for proof of medical insurance on entry. A certificate from EUROINS is issued as a PDF within minutes and is recognised at every open crossing. Given current conditions, the Extended plan with its €30,000 limit is the sensible default.
